My Pop Culture Weakness!

In today's technological era, pop culture is easily accessible. While being constantly submerged in the media of fashion, movies, sports, etc... I would have to say my absolute favorite is music. My pop culture weakness is logging into my Spotify account and heading straight to the Discover Weekly playlist or the Browse section.

Finding new music is like getting addicted to a drug: you play it over and over and just can't get enough. Since I especially listen to EDM or up-beat music, finding a new song is like an adrenaline rush. Music literally makes me stop in my tracks. When I hear a good song while I'm out somewhere, I pull out my Shazam app and get the song immediately.

I believe music has the most influence on people today. When you walk into a store, salon, doctors office, music is always playing. It sets the mood, and can give you an insight on what theme is trying to be portrayed. Music artists are also celebrities, you see them on tv, in the news, even on twitter. It's also so awesome how music lives on even after these artists are dead. When I'm in certain moods or am feeling a nostalgic moment, I listen to old music. The Rolling Stones, Queen, and The Who are all part of my playlist along with some other artists.
